Industrial Electronic Hardware (I.E.H.) Model 750-5b Dosimeter Charger supplies the voltage required to charge or "Zero" quartz fiber dosimeters. It operates on a standard "D" battery (not included). The charger is new and comes with the original manual. The charger may have a few cosmetic blemishes from handling. Own a piece of cold war history before it disappears forever! Note: In the past, we sold the pens individually and for those who want to use their pen (CD V-72) with the charger this is a good opportunity to purchase the Charger and Manual only. A little more information about the pen, The pen CD V-742 (not included) can measure 0-200 roentgen. It is 4-1/2" long 1/2" diameter and has a window at end. When you look thru the window you will see a line that would move across a scale. By charging the pen before exposure to radiation (from the charger) you could set the line to 0 (zero). Now if exposure occurred you could tell the level of radiation the pen was exposed to by looking at where the line had moved.
