Industrial Electronic Hardware (I.E.H.) Model 750-5b Dosimeter Charger supplies the voltage required to charge or "Zero" quartz fiber dosimeter pens. It operates on a standard "D" battery (not included). The pen is a CD V-742 and measures 0-200 roentgen. It is 4-1/2" long 1/2" diameter and has a window at end. When you look thru the window you will see a line that would move across a scale. By charging the pen before exposure to radiation (from the charger) you could set the line to 0 (zero). Now if exposure occurred you could tell the level of radiation the pen was exposed to by looking at where the line had moved. The charger is new and comes with the original manual. We are not sure about the pen (the Pen may or may not work properly and is sold "As Is")  We do test each charger to make sure it is working before we ship. Both items may have a few cosmetic blemishes from handling. Own a piece of cold war history before it disappears forever!
